Who I Am

I am Ümit — based in the Mannheim/Rhine-Neckar region of Germany. By day, I work as a Manager in Big 4 consulting, specializing in SAP Authorization Management, Identity & Access Management, and IT security governance for large enterprises across Europe.

Outside of that, I am someone who genuinely enjoys building things — whether that is writing code, designing something for the 3D printer, or exploring a new place. This page is where those worlds come together.

I am also laying the groundwork for future ventures — professional services, side projects, or something in between. If you think there could be a fit, I am always open to a good conversation.

From functional prototypes to creative projects — I enjoy the full workflow of 3D design and additive manufacturing. There is something deeply satisfying about turning a digital model into a physical object you can hold in your hand. Slicer settings, filament properties, print failures and all.

Coding is my way of automating the repetitive and exploring the curious. Whether it is scripting small tools, building personal projects, or diving into a new language — I enjoy the problem-solving mindset that programming demands. It keeps me sharp and genuinely excited.

Traveling
Exploring new places, cultures, and perspectives is something I genuinely value. Travel sharpens the mind in ways that are hard to replicate elsewhere — every destination offers a different way of looking at the world, and I find that curiosity translates directly into how I approach my work.
